Aaron K. Carter, a multifaceted creative, is renowned for his work as a writer, producer, and director, with notable credits including the films Dead Kansas (2013) and An Hour To Kill (2018).
Born on April 24th, 1978, in Lincoln, Nebraska, Aaron's family relocated to Los Angeles, California when he was just six years old. This pivotal move would later influence his appreciation for horror, sci-fi, and fantasy films, which developed at a young age.
Aaron's academic journey began at Cal State University of Northridge, where he graduated in 2001 with a major in Film Theory. Following his graduation, he embarked on a series of monotonous jobs in mailrooms, warehouses, and shipping/receiving departments, which ultimately prompted him to pursue a more creative path.
Aaron's decision to take the leap and create independent films proved to be a successful one. His debut film, Dead Kansas, garnered significant attention and accolades, including the 'best zombie film' award at the FANtastic Horror Film Festival in San Diego.
Aaron's subsequent film, An Hour To Kill, is a genre-bending masterpiece that seamlessly combines elements of crime, action, horror, and comedy. In addition to his work behind the camera, Aaron occasionally makes appearances on Brendan Mitchell's WetMovie1 YouTube channel.
