Aaron's journey to the entertainment industry was unconventional, to say the least. At the tender age of 18, he took the bold step of enlisting in the United States Army, embarking on a nearly six-year odyssey that would shape his life forever. His military career began with boot camp at Fort Jackson in South Carolina, a grueling initiation that would prepare him for the challenges that lay ahead.
Over the next five years and nine months, Aaron would be stationed at various military bases across the United States and abroad. He served at Camp Humphreys in Korea, Fort Huachuca in Arizona, and Fort Sill in Oklahoma, where he honed his skills as a supply sergeant, small arms repair technician, and physical fitness instructor. In this latter role, he oversaw the fitness testing of over 250 soldiers in 8-week intervals for more than three years, a testament to his exceptional leadership abilities and dedication to his comrades.
In 2001, Aaron made the decision to transition to the United States Air Force, where he would continue to serve his country with distinction. His assignments took him to Travis Air Force Base in California, Osan Air Base in Korea, Yokota Air Base in Japan, and Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, before concluding his service back at Travis AFB. Throughout his time in the Air Force, Aaron was deployed eight times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, a true testament to his bravery and selflessness.
After 21 years of honorable service, Aaron retired with a long list of accolades, including the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Meritorious Unit Commendation, among others. Aaron's remarkable military career serves as a shining example of his dedication, perseverance, and commitment to serving his country.
