Adalberto Martínez Chávez, a renowned Mexican actor, who under his stage name Resortes, etched an indelible mark on the entertainment industry, leaving behind a legacy that would be cherished for generations to come.

Among his most notable film credits are the esteemed El Rey de México (The King of Mexico),El Cartero del Barrio, Al Son del Mambo (To the Mambo's Rhythm),and El Futbolista Fenómeno (The Phenomenal Soccer Player). Nevertheless, it was his iconic movies La Niña de la Mochila Azul (The Girl With the Blue Back Pack) and its sequel La Niña de la Mochila Azul 2 (The Girl With the Blue Back Pack 2) that solidified his position as a cherished figure among the younger generations during the 1980s, leaving an indelible mark on the world of Mexican cinema.

Alex Martinez, a renowned international artist, continues to honor the artistic legacy of his uncle, Resortes, who despite being taken from the world far too soon, left behind a lasting impact that endures to this day.

Resortes' remarkable career, marked by incredible achievements, was tragically cut short when he was hospitalized with emphysema on April 3, 2003. Just one day later, on April 4, Resortes sadly passed away, leaving behind a legacy that would be carried on by his nephew, Alex Martinez.
