Adèle Anderson is a renowned performer, best known for her work as a member of the esteemed cabaret group Fascinating Aïda. Alongside founder member Dillie Keane, she co-writes a significant portion of the group's material, which has been showcased in over 100 theatres across the UK and Ireland, as well as in Australia, New Zealand, San Francisco, New York, Berlin, Kenya, and Singapore.
Anderson's theatre credits include appearances in productions such as The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Follies, Into the Woods, and Salad Days, as well as national tours and Edinburgh Fringe Festival performances. She has also directed two pantomimes and the tribute show Kaye's the Word.
In addition to her work with Fascinating Aïda, Anderson has written numerous lyrics for the group, as well as co-writing three solo shows for Dillie Keane. She has also collaborated on various musical projects, including The Challenge and The Ten Commandments, and has released a debut solo album, Why try to change me now?, with Warren Wills as Musical Director.
Anderson's film credits include appearances in Lady Jane and Company Business, in which she sang to Gene Hackman and Mikhail Baryshnikov. On television, she has appeared in roles such as Dr. Tockley in Hotel Babylon, Gemma Masters in Fish, and the voice of Sydney, the cassowary, in The Whingeing Pom. Her radio credits include the Radio 4 production Plutopia.
