In 2002, Asty made her film debut in the movie "Ada Apa Dengan Cinta," playing the role of a tomboy girl. Her performance in this movie caught the attention of audiences and critics alike.
Two years later, Asty appeared in the movie "Tentang Dia," reprising her role as a tomboy girl. Her portrayal of this character earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the 2005 Mtv Indonesia Movie Awards.
