With a career spanning over three decades, Agustín has demonstrated exceptional versatility as an actor, singer, director, writer, producer, and editor, having worked on a wide range of productions including stage works, films, commercial spots, television shows, concerts, and musical productions. He has seamlessly navigated both the US and Mexican entertainment industries.
As a director, Agustín has been responsible for numerous stage works, commercial spots, videos, and educational and corporate films. One of his notable achievements includes directing a campaign for the Council of Community Clinics in San Diego, California, which won an EMMY award.
His feature film, "The Little Matchmakers", won the best feature film award at the San Diego Independent Film Festival in 2011. Moreover, his recent film, "Ruta Madre", has garnered numerous accolades, including the best feature film award at the New York International Film Festival in 2016, the "People's Choice Award" at the Borrego Springs Film Festival in 2017, and nominations for the "People's Choice Award" at the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival in 2017.
