Al Carabello was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Maria and Albert Carabello, marking the beginning of a life that would soon take an unexpected turn. At the tender age of 15, he landed a job at a video game store in South Philly, a career path that would later prove to be a mere stepping stone for his true passion. One fateful day, a friend approached him with an offer to appear in a short film that would ultimately change the course of his life. As he delved deeper into the world of acting, he discovered a profound love for the craft, leading him to seek guidance from renowned New York acting coach George DiCenzo. With his newfound confidence and skills, Carabello made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, where he would pursue a full-time career in acting. His big break came in the form of a role on the hit ABC series Grey's Anatomy, a credit that would serve as a springboard for future opportunities. In 2015, he landed his first recurring role in the ABC series Revenge, playing the character of Miguel, a role that would cement his status as a rising star in the industry. Two years later, Carabello made his feature film debut in Adam McKay's biopic Vice, opposite Academy Award-winning actor Christian Bale, in a film that would go on to receive a staggering eight Oscar nominations, including Best Picture.
