Born and raised, I embarked on an artistic journey that began with the attainment of a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in the year 2008. This milestone marked the starting point of a career that would be filled with numerous opportunities and experiences. I joined the esteemed ranks of the Dundee Rep Theatre and the National Theatre of Scotland, honing my skills and further solidifying my position as a talented and dedicated actor.
As my skills and experience continued to grow, I made the bold decision to relocate to Vienna, Austria in the year 2010, where I co-founded the innovative Open House Theatre. In this new chapter of my life, I assumed the roles of both Artistic Director and Creative Director, allowing me to bring my unique vision and creative perspective to the forefront. This remarkable chapter in my life came to a close in the year 2019, as I shifted my focus towards an increasingly busy freelance career.
As a dynamic and versatile performer, my principal vocation is acting, with a substantial proportion of my work comprising independent film projects and fiction podcasts. Beyond my acting responsibilities, I also assume the roles of writer and director, infusing the creative process with a distinctive viewpoint. I have been fortunate enough to have appeared in a diverse array of notable projects, including government-funded and studio-financed films, German television, and numerous voiceover assignments, for which I have invested in a cutting-edge voice recording setup, ensuring top-notch audio quality.
As a multifaceted professional, I've had the privilege of engaging in a wide array of collaborations throughout my career, consistently being sought after by various groups and organizations to participate in new and innovative projects. Although my primary passion remains in the realm of acting, I've also been frequently approached to lend my expertise to screenplays, initially in the capacity of a meticulous proofreader to guarantee the English is flawless, but often evolving my role to provide more substantial input, effectively becoming an integral part of the creative process.
It is the sheer delight of collaborating with others that serves as the catalyst for my professional endeavors. The dynamic energy that emanates from encountering new individuals and embarking on fresh projects is a potent force that fuels my passion for my work.
