Alana Evie Boden, a talented British actress, was born in Surrey and spent her childhood in Hampshire, where she was raised alongside her two sisters. From a young age, Boden pursued a career in modeling, starting as a child model at the tender age of nine. As she grew older, she transitioned to television commercials and short films, balancing her work with her education.
Boden's television debut came in the form of Beatrice Selfridge in the second and third series of the ITV period drama Mr Selfridge, which premiered in 2013. Her impressive performance earned her recognition, including the Rising Star award at the 2016 London Short Film Festival for her role in the drama The Earth Belongs to No One, released in 2015. The same year, she starred as Elaine Wiltshire in the Canadian YTV series Ride, a show that revolved around an equestrian school in England.
In 2017, Boden took on the role of a young Elizabeth Smart in the Lifetime biographical film I Am Elizabeth Smart, for which she received a nomination for Best Actress in a Television Movie or Limited Series at the following year's Critics' Choice Awards.
Boden has continued to appear in various films and television shows, including Hostage Radio in 2019 and Infamous Six in 2020. In 2022, she starred in the Lifetime miniseries Flowers in the Attic: The Origin, a prequel based on the novel Garden of Shadows. Additionally, she appeared in the films Uncharted and The Invitation, both released in 2022, and is set to appear in the 2024 horror movie Tarot.
