As he continued to develop his acting skills, Chistyakov's talent shone through, and by 1925, he had become a prominent figure in the film industry. His first notable role was that of a worker in the film "Arsenals," a character that would become a hallmark of his subsequent work as an actor.
Interestingly, Chistyakov's life was not limited to his acting career. He was also an accomplished athlete, holding the title of champion of the Russian Empire in hammer throwing. This remarkable feat was achieved through self-study, as he began mastering the art of hammer throwing at the end of the 19th century. In 1912, he set the first record in Russia, cementing his status as a formidable athlete.
