Alex Dittmer, one of eight siblings born to Richard and Ramona Dittmer, was bitten by the acting bug at an early age, inspired by the work of his brothers and sisters in their High School shows.
Throughout his career, Alex has showcased his talent onstage throughout the Midwest, as well as in various industrial and short independent films. He has played a supporting role in the award-winning short film, "The Vacation," and continues to work in the industry.
Alex received his Bachelor's Degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, and later pursued his Master's of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
His extensive stage experience includes performances at the renowned Apollo Theatre in Harlem, the Tony Award-winning Cincinnati Playhouse, and Sons D'hiver in Paris, where he premiered Melvin Van Peebles' live musical staging of "Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song" in 2010.
