Alex Emanuel is a multifaceted artist with a background in theatre, film, and television. Born in New York City's Little Italy to artist parents, he grew up alternating between NYC and Western Massachusetts. Alex earned a degree in Fine Art from Skidmore College and trained as an actor in New York and Chicago. He is a member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, and ASCAP.
With a vast range of credits to his name, Alex has appeared in numerous feature films, including The Incoherents, Inside the Rain, When Everything's Gone, and many more. His television credits include roles on Succession, Public Morals, Bronx SIU, and other popular shows. He has also acted in numerous short films, music videos, and commercials.
In addition to his work in film and television, Alex has had a successful career in theatre. He has appeared in various productions, including the premieres of Stew's rock musical Family Album at OSF in Oregon, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep at the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, and many more.
Throughout his career, Alex has received numerous awards and accolades for his acting work. He has been praised by critics for his performances, with reviews describing him as "Excellent", "Wonderful", "Perfect", "Charismatic", and "Hilarious".
When not acting, Alex devotes his time to writing and producing through his start-up production company, Starna Productions. He has produced and starred in the award-winning rock 'n' roll comedy feature The Incoherents, which won numerous awards at film festivals. Starna Productions is currently working on several projects, including a documentary about Alex's father, the celebrated cartoonist/illustrator Robert Grossman, and a noir feature film titled The Fleshwriter.
Alex is also a published illustrator, having worked with clients such as The New York Times. He has released an album of 15 songs entitled "Better Light" and has had his short plays read at Naked Angels in NYC.
