As the allure of the entertainment industry beckoned, Alex made the bold decision to relocate to the vibrant city of Los Angeles, a hub of creativity and innovation. It was in this cosmopolitan setting that he had the opportunity to refine his skills in the realm of film analysis and screenwriting under the watchful eye of the highly respected educator, František "Frank" Daniel. Following his return to Utah, Alex embarked on a significant career milestone in 2002, taking up the responsibility of teaching Frank Daniel's innovative approach to filmmaking at Utah Valley University (UVU). Over the course of the next two decades, he assumed a paramount role in molding the Digital Media Department, spearheading the development of the Film Production Analysis curriculum, the Writing for Digital Media major emphasis, and the Writing for Entertainment Media Minor, leaving an indelible mark on the institution.
