Alex Turner, a visionary individual, entered the world in 1971 within the bustling metropolis of New York City. From a remarkably young age, Turner harboured a distinctive perspective on the world, which would later shape his artistic pursuits. At the tender age of eleven, he began crafting his own short films using a home movie camera graciously gifted by his father, the renowned photographer Pete Turner. These early, innovative Super 8mm productions, such as Dr. Griffin's Creation and Starflight 7, not only showcased Turner's burgeoning creative talent but also eerily foreshadowed his future triumphs within the film industry.

Turner's academic pursuits culminated in a degree from the esteemed film program at State University of New York at Purchase, after which he plunged headlong into the vibrant world of feature and commercial production, dividing his time between the creative hubs of New York and Los Angeles.

As he began to make a name for himself in the industry, Turner's early experiences were marked by a diverse range of roles and projects, including a unique opportunity to serve as a pigeon wrangler on a commercial shoot expertly directed by Steve Horn.
