Alexander's early life was marked by a significant relocation, as he was born in Adelaide, South Australia, but spent a substantial portion of his childhood in San Jose, California. Upon completing high school, he embarked on a comprehensive theatre training regimen, which ultimately led to his professional theatre debut. This experience instilled in him a desire for formal training, prompting him to seek admission to the esteemed Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
Alexander was deeply impressed by the exceptional caliber of actors produced by WAAPA and aspired to collaborate with former graduates who had achieved great success, including notable individuals such as Hugh Jackman, Tim Minchin, and Jai Courtney. The academy's rigorous multiple callback audition process was notoriously demanding, and Alexander's achievement of being offered a place after a single five-minute audition is a testament to his exceptional talent.
Following his graduation with a Bachelor of Acting in early 2017, Alexander relocated to Los Angeles, where he currently resides.
