Aliza Pearl is a multifaceted artist of African American and Puerto Rican descent, hailing from Newark, New Jersey. She has received extensive training in theatre, on-camera acting, improv, and music, allowing her to excel in a variety of creative pursuits.
As a writer, Aliza focuses on socially aware comedy and dramedy, science fiction, and fantasy. Her writing credits include the award-winning dramatic coming-of-age TV pilot "Whitehall," which won Best Teleplay at the BET Urbanworld Film Festival in 2011.
