Aliza Pearl is a multifaceted artist of African American and Puerto Rican descent, hailing from Newark, New Jersey. She has received extensive training in theatre, on-camera acting, improv, and music, allowing her to excel in a variety of creative pursuits.
As a writer, Aliza focuses on socially aware comedy and dramedy, science fiction, and fantasy. Her writing credits include the award-winning dramatic coming-of-age TV pilot "Whitehall," which won Best Teleplay at the BET Urbanworld Film Festival in 2011.
Aliza has had a prolific career in television and film, appearing in shows such as "Days of Our Lives" and "House of Lies," as well as in numerous indie films, including "Beached," "The End," "Everything Before Us," and "Something is Killing Tate."
