Alyssa Marvin is a renowned New York-based actress who has made a significant impact on the Broadway scene. She holds the rare distinction of having appeared in two plays, Appropriate and Grey House, within a single Broadway season.
Appropriate, a Tony Award-winning production, received widespread critical acclaim. Alyssa's captivating performance as Cassidy, a precocious teenager, earned her praise from notable publications such as Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. Her portrayal was described as "incredible" and "superb," respectively.
Alyssa's Broadway debut was in the psychological thriller Grey House, directed by Joe Mantello. Her character, A1656, was praised by Entertainment Weekly for her charming and astute nature, as well as her effortless delivery.
Alyssa's journey in the entertainment industry began at a young age. She made her off-Broadway debut at just six years old in the 25th Anniversary Production of Number the Stars at the Davenport Theatre in New York. Since then, she has traveled extensively, including a stint in South East Asia for the International Tour of Annie, directed by Martin Charnin.
Alyssa has also performed across the United States and Canada in the First National Tour of the musical School of Rock, visiting over forty-five cities in fifteen months. Closer to home, she originated the title role of Edie in Edie Saves the Birds at Theatre East in New York.
