Amanda Graeff, a talented American actress, has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry through her impressive performances in films such as Patient Seven, alongside Michael Ironside, and her award-nominated role in On Her Lips.
Amanda's journey in acting began at a young age, when she started performing in the Southern Colorado Repertory Theater (SCRT) while still in elementary school. Her natural talent quickly became apparent, earning her scholarships to attend SCRT classes until she started high school. Her performances at SCRT earned her a full ride scholarship to Trinidad State College, where she majored in drama.
Aside from acting, Amanda was an enthusiastic participant in every aspect of theater, art, and music. Her professors encouraged her to audition for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA-LA) in Los Angeles, and she impressed the recruiters so much that they offered her multiple scholarships to attend. During her time at AADA-LA, she worked in the costume and prop departments, exploring as many creative outlets as she could.
After graduating, Amanda acted in dozens of student films, independent short films, music videos, and feature films. She also art directed, set decorated, made costumes, created and managed props, outsourced makeup artists, assistant directed, and much more on various sets. Amanda discovered that she loved every part of the filmmaking process, from creation to completion.
As Amanda began to focus on creating her own projects, she was again offered an AADA scholarship, this time for their campus in New York City. She fulfilled her lifelong dream of studying acting in the theater capital of the US, honing her talents in a rigorous program focused on the modern realities and skills required of working actors.
Currently, Amanda continues to act in films, perform in plays, and create her own content. Her most recent collaboration as story partner with writer/director Phil Mucci, Season of the Bitch, a feature screenplay inspired by her dynamic personality, recently won the Final Draft / Big Break Screenwriting Contest (2019).
