Amandla Stenberg is a talented and wise artist who has gained widespread recognition for her exceptional performances on screen. The film premiered at the 2018 Toronto Film Festival and earned global accolades, with Stenberg co-presenting at the Academy Awards on behalf of the film alongside civil rights activist John Lewis.
In 2017, Stenberg starred in EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING, an adaptation of the Nicola Yoon book of the same title. The film follows Maddie, a teen with a rare disease that causes her to be allergic to almost everything. The film won Choice Drama Movie at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards, and Stenberg won the 2018 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture.
Stenberg has also been featured in The Melodic Blue: Baby Keem, an Amazon Music short-film contextualizing and providing visuals for Baby Keem's debut LP, The Melodic Blue. She stars as Jade, Keem's apparent love interest in the film, grappling with his reality as he experiences fragmented memories and addictive temptation to the melodic blue.
