Amie Barsky, a native of Atco, a small town in Southern New Jersey, grew up with a unique blend of interests and hobbies. As a young girl, she was drawn to dance and gymnastics, but she never let her tomboy tendencies get in the way of her passion for performance. In fact, her weekend rituals often involved riding dirt bikes, playing kick ball, and watching drag cars speed down the strip at Atco Raceway.
As she matured, Amie's love for dance only intensified, leading her to perform with the National Ballet of New Jersey. She then continued to nurture her artistic side while pursuing her education at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. During her time at university, Amie's interests expanded to include acting, photography, kinesiology, and anatomy. She also had the opportunity to be a cheerleader for the Philadelphia Eagles, performing in front of over 60,000 fans each week and participating in various charity functions.
After relocating to Los Angeles, California, Amie continued to work as an actress, model, dancer, and choreographer. Her career in the entertainment industry has taken her to over 20 countries, and she cherishes every moment of it. Throughout her career, Amie has had the privilege of working with esteemed directors, actors, and musicians, including Jay Roach, Robert Luketic, Mike Myers, Jennifer Lopez, The Dixie Chicks, Meatloaf, and Outcast, as well as national campaign and commercial ads for Ford, Wrigley's, Gap, Coors Lite, Marlboro, and Mitsubishi.
Amie describes herself as an "adrenaline addict ready for anything at a moment's notice." Her intelligence, high spirits, genuine heart, and good sense of humor have earned her a reputation as a woman of great character. As she continues to climb the ranks of success as an actress, Amie looks forward to whatever the future may hold.
