Anais Marie Lee and her identical twin sister, Mirabelle Lee, were born on January 9, 2007, commencing their remarkable journey in the world of entertainment.
At the tender age of three, Anais began her career as a print model, gracing the covers of numerous advertisements for prominent retailers and strutting her stuff on the runway during New York Fashion Week for esteemed fashion brands such as Vogue Bambini, Rookie USA, and others.
Anais and Mirabelle made their foray into the world of film and television when they shared the role of "Janie" in the crime thriller feature film "Blood Ties" directed by Guillaume Canet. Since then, Anais has continued to land roles in various films, television shows, and commercials, earning recognition for her portrayal of Jessi Ramsey in the Netflix series "The Babysitters Club" and Steph Greene in the Netflix series "The Upshaws".
As a trained ballet dancer, Anais earned her pointe shoes at the age of 11, demonstrating her dedication and passion for the art form. Alongside her sister, Anais and Mirabelle have had the opportunity to perform in Debbie Allen's musicals "Hot Chocolate Nutcracker" and "Brothers of the Knight", danced in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on the Sesame Street float, and even won the iced-out mic on Nickelodeon's "Lip Sync Battle Shorties" Twin Shorties episode.
In addition to her acting career, Anais is a writer and activist who is committed to promoting literacy and supporting young black writers through her foundation, The Beatrice Martin Foundation, and her writers group, Black Writers of Tomorrow.
