André Lamar, a native of the metro Detroit area in Michigan, began his journey after graduating from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Technology. He spent over a decade working in corporate America before relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, where his passion for the entertainment industry was ignited.
As André started to book roles in various projects, including short films, TV series, movies, and theater productions, he landed his first leading role in the 2016 film "Before I Go," which was showcased in select theaters. To hone his craft, André continues to take ongoing acting classes, demonstrating his dedication to perfecting his skills.
Throughout his career, André has achieved numerous accolades, including the Best Actor Award from the Company Acting Studio, as voted by his peers. Beyond acting, André is a multifaceted individual with skills in writing, directing, and producing. He is in high demand for various roles and has appeared on networks such as BET, TV One, and others.
