Andrew Ayala, a multifaceted individual with a passion for acting, is a devoted husband and father. His journey in the entertainment industry began with school plays, but it was during his Junior High School (JHS) years that he discovered his love for the Audio/Visual (A/V) class.
In the A/V class, Andrew's teacher introduced him to the world of acting and camera work, sparking a lifelong interest. Andrew is fluent in three languages: English, Spanish, and Arabic. Prior to pursuing a career in acting, Andrew worked as a field investigator for nearly 14 years, allowing him to develop a keen sense of observation and attention to detail.
As a late teenager, Andrew attended open calls and was once selected for four callbacks for a feature film, where he was considered for the co-lead role alongside Woody Harrelson. However, he decided not to pursue the project. Andrew's passion for acting eventually led him to re-enter the industry, and he has since made a significant impact.
After just three months in the business, Andrew landed a principal role on the ABC series Pan Am, playing the character of Cuban Exile #1. He has since appeared in numerous principal roles on network shows such as Pan Am, Zero Hour, Gotham, Daredevil, Power, Bull, and MacGyver.
Andrew's notable film credits include Furious 7, where he portrayed Anton Toretto. His early aspirations to become a fashion model were influenced by his uncle Philip Burgos, who was planning to launch his own fashion line. Unfortunately, his uncle Philip passed away in 1992 due to AIDS.
Currently, Andrew continues to audition for TV shows and projects in New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. He enjoys taking road trips to cities where productions are shooting TV and films, always keeping an eye out for new opportunities.
