Andrew, a native of the United States, embarked on an illustrious career as an American Fulbright professor and the Founding Artistic Director of The English Language Theatre of Orenburg, Russia. His academic journey commenced with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Southern California, followed by a fellowship to the prestigious Folger Conservatory in Washington and a Rotary International fellowship for theatre studies at the Sorbonne in Paris.
As a renowned author, Andrew penned the critically acclaimed book "An Actor's Business," which was voted the best of the year in 1996 by Stage Directions Magazine. He has also published numerous articles on theatre and film and is currently developing a teaching methodology text called "Language Learning through Drama" to complement his Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
Andrew's impressive acting career boasts a wide range of stage, film, and video productions in both the United States and France. He has performed in numerous productions, including Romeo and Juliet, Richard III, Medea, Henry IV, King Lear, and The Winter's Tale, among many others. His notable stage credits include the title role of Julius Caesar with the Florida Shakespeare Festival and the role of Chekhov in Chekhov in Yalta at the Washington Stage Guild.
Andrew's film credits include featured roles in Chances Are (1989),Why Me? (1990),and Three Men and a Little Lady (1990),starring Tom Selleck and directed by Emile Ardolino, director of Dirty Dancing. His television credits include starring and co-starring roles in Divorce Court, Pointman, and other productions.
As a director, Andrew has led theatre productions in the United States, France, and Russia, including A Midsummer Night's Dream in Los Angeles, Temperament Epuise in Paris, and Three Tall Women in Russia. His repertoire also includes Peer Gynt, The Redwood Curtain, The Pigman, and many other productions.
