Andrew Twiford, a multifaceted individual with a rich background, was born in Orlando, Florida, and spent his formative years in the Greater Grand Rapids area. He received his secondary education at Byron Center High School, where he excelled in various extracurricular activities, including Marching Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Orchestra, showcasing his exceptional trumpet skills alongside renowned jazz musicians.
Twiford's athletic prowess was also evident as he played on the varsity teams for lacrosse, soccer, and cross-country, earning the distinction of MHSSA scholar athlete finalist. Furthermore, he achieved the impressive feat of earning a black belt in karate and holds the esteemed title of Eagle Scout.
Andrew's academic accomplishments are equally impressive, as he graduated with honors from Jacksonville University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation & Flight Operations and a Master of Business Administration. During his time at JU, he was an active member of the Varsity Shooting Team and acquired numerous flight certifications, ultimately becoming a Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor II.
Today, Andrew shares his expertise as an instructor at Paragon Flight Training Co., inspiring the next generation of pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
