Anthony E. Zuiker is the mastermind behind the phenomenally successful "CSI" franchise, currently serving as executive producer of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and the latest addition to the franchise, "CSI: Cyber". Zuiker made his debut in the kids' market in December 2014 with "Mysteryopolis", a seven-part animated video series that premiered exclusively on nabi tablets, marking the first original series to do so. "Mysteryopolis" revolutionized the kids' entertainment landscape by introducing the concept of the "gamified narrative", a unique blend of Hollywood-style scripted storytelling and engaging interactive gameplay that allows children to "play" through the episode rather than simply watching it.
In recent years, Zuiker has continued to push the boundaries of both scripted and reality television with his innovative projects. In 2014, he made his reality TV debut with "Whodunnit?" on ABC, a groundbreaking series that showcased his expertise in the genre. Zuiker is also the creator and executive producer of "Cybergeddon", a digital blockbuster for Yahoo! that earned him recognition at the International Digital Emmy Awards. In April 2013, Zuiker was honored with the 2013 Pioneer Prize at MIPTV in Cannes for his pioneering work in the digital storytelling space.
In addition to his work in television and digital media, Zuiker is also a published author. He is credited with creating the "Digi-novel" genre and has written the best-selling "Level 26" series, published by Dutton/Penguin Group. Zuiker's personal memoir, "Mr. CSI: How a Vegas Dreamer Made a Killing in Hollywood, One Body at a Time", was published by Harper Collins in 2011, offering a unique glimpse into his life and career.
