Anya Benton's fascination with a career in acting and modeling began at a tender age, as she delighted in being in front of the camera or simply performing at home. This passion for the spotlight only intensified as she grew older, with her primary upbringing taking place in the picturesque coastal town of La Jolla, California.
As a high school student, Anya started to make a name for herself in the modeling world, while also participating in various theatrical productions and drama classes. To hone her craft, she enrolled in classes at the renowned John Casablanca Academy and the local junior theater school.
Education held a special place in Anya's heart, and she took her studies extremely seriously. Upon graduating Cum Laude from La Jolla High School in 2002, she went on to attend the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),where she majored in Mass Communications and double minored in Russian Studies and Spanish Language. During her time at UCLA, Anya remained an active volunteer with the Kiwanis Family and even had the opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona, Spain.
Although modeling and acting were always a part of her life, Anya focused most of her efforts on her coursework, allowing her to graduate from UCLA in just three years in 2005 as a trilingual Cum Laude student. Her impressive academic achievements were a testament to her dedication and perseverance.
After graduating, Anya dedicated herself to pursuing a full-time career in acting and modeling. She continued to take acting classes, worked on various student and independent films, and collaborated on modeling projects. Her relentless pursuit of improvement and knowledge of the industry has been unwavering, and she remains committed to refining her craft every day.
