April Wade's earliest foray into the world of performance occurred at the tender age of three, when she took to the stage, or rather, her grandmother's front lawn, and delivered a showstopping turn as a Twinkie crafted from butcher paper. Fast-forward to the present, and April continues to indulge her passion for make-believe, this time doing so as a respected actress and producer based in Los Angeles.
Following her attendance at Chapman University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre/Film, April went on to star in a multitude of projects, honing her craft and developing her unique artistic voice. In the spring of 2004, she took the bold step of launching Actors Creative Workshop, a studio she would go on to own and operate until its sale in the summer of 2010.
As a testament to her creative vision and entrepreneurial spirit, April founded Women on Top Productions, with her first major project being the quirky independent film, Junction. This cinematic endeavour, completed in January 2008, would go on to take home the coveted Audience Award at the 11th Annual Dances with Films festival in July 2008, a testament to April's talent and dedication to her craft.
