Arash, a talented singer and producer, has a deep attachment to Iran and Persian culture, which is reflected in his decision to sing in his native language. His debut album, released in June 2005 by Warner Music Sweden, marked the beginning of his successful music career.
The album's singles, "Boro Boro" and "Temptation", featuring Rebecca, gained significant airplay on over 20 MTV outlets worldwide and charted well in various European countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, and Turkey. His music also resonated in Asian charts, such as in Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and throughout the Arab Middle Eastern countries.
Arash's records were certified gold in five countries: his album in Germany, Russia, Slovenia, and Greece, and his single "Boro Boro" in Sweden. His song "Boro Boro" was also featured in the Hindi Bollywood film Bluffmaster! and he was the featured Artist of the Month on MTV India.
In addition to his solo work, Arash has collaborated with other artists, including Helena, with whom he recorded the song "Pure Love". The music video for the song starred Arash and Venezuelan beauty queen Marianne Puglia.
Arash has also ventured into producing music, working alongside Thomas G:son, Robert Uhlmann, and Johan Bejerholm on the Swedish entry to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010, "Allt jag vill ha", performed by Josefine Ridell.
In 2009, Arash was involved in the Eurovision Song Contest, writing and composing the Azerbaijani entry "Always", which was performed by Aysel Teymurzadeh and Arash in a duet. The song qualified for the final and placed third on May 16, 2009.
Throughout his career, Arash has built a strong reputation as a successful singer and producer, with a special affinity for the music charts in Poland, where he is especially famous.
