Born in Kingston, Canada, actor Millen's passion for acting was ignited during his senior year of high school, marking the beginning of a journey that would eventually lead him to pursue his dream. Following his high school graduation, Millen received training at Ryerson University, laying the foundation for a successful acting career.
Early in his career, Millen began with small roles in various television shows, including "Regenesis", "Nikita", "Rookie Blue", and "Played". Additionally, he was featured in the 100-person art project, "Makeout", which was the subject of Ryan Hughes' short film.
Director Rodrigo Gudiño took notice of Millen's talent and cast him in the sixth episode of the Copperheart Entertainment horror anthology, "Darknet", which is now available on Netflix in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. This collaboration further solidified Millen's relationship with the Foresight Features team, for which he played Dr. Igora in the cult hit, "Monsters Brawl".
Millen's impressive resume also includes appearances in John Geddes' "Exit Humanity" and Tony Burgess' "Ejecta" and "Hellmouth". Furthermore, he has played the role of 'Hawk' in four episodes of "State of Syn". Most recently, Millen starred in Matthew Campagna's feature film, "Hunter's Moon", opposite Colm Feore. His acting credits also include a recurring role in the premiere season of "12 Monkeys" and a guest starring role in the second season of "Reign".
