Ash Christian was an accomplished Emmy Award-winning producer, director, and actor, boasting an impressive portfolio of over 15 feature films and television series. His most recent productions include the SXSW hit film 1985, released in 2018, and the thriller Burn, released by eOne in 2019. Additionally, he executive produced After Everything, which premiered at SXSW in 2018, and was written and directed by Hannah Marks and Joey Power.
Other notable productions include Southern Pride, Little Sister, Miles, Hello Again, Coin Heist, Stranger in the House, Petunia, Mangus!, Addiction: A 60's Love Story, Nate & Margaret, and Fat Girls. In 2019, Coyote Lake was released, along with Kindred Spirits, directed by Lucky McKee, and Milkwater, released in 2020.
In 2018, he produced Social Animals, which will be released in theaters from Paramount Pictures, as well as the sequel to Hurricane Bianca, Hurricane Bianca: From Russia with Hate, released theatrically in 2018. Through his company, Cranium Entertainment, Ash was developing several feature film projects, including "Untitled Timothy McVeigh Project", directed by Mike Ott, "As Sick As They Made Us", directed by Mayim Bialik, "Platonic", directed by Cameron Fay and written by Sono Patel, and "Nightfall", written and directed by Addison McQuigg.
Tragically, Ash Christian passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 35, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
