Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Ashleigh spent her early years in the Midwest before relocating to Oakland, California, in the 5th grade to live with her aunt for two years. During this time, she developed a passion for music, studying piano, jazz, and hip-hop, which would later influence her work in the entertainment industry.
