Ashley McCall Scott is a renowned American actress and model, born on July 13, 1977, in Metairie, Louisiana, but raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She began her modeling career at a young age, becoming a 1993 Elite Model Look finalist and eventually signing with Elite Miami. Ashley's extensive modeling experience took her to international runways in Miami, Paris, and London.
Ashley's foray into the entertainment industry began with her screen credit as "Gigolo Jane" in the feature film A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001). She soon transitioned to television, landing the role of "Asha Barlow" in the second season of FOX's hit sci-fi show Dark Angel (2000).
In 2002, Ashley joined the cast of Birds of Prey (2002) as "Helena Kyle" (a.k.a The Huntress),followed by a string of film appearances, including S.W.A.T. (2003),Evil Remains (2004),Walking Tall (2004),Lost (2004) (voice),Into the Blue (2005),The Kingdom (2007),Strange Wilderness (2008),12 Rounds (2009),and several TV movies.
Ashley's television credits include recurring roles in the CBS drama Jericho (2006-2008) as "Emily Sullivan" and guest appearances on CSI: Miami (2002),NCIS (2003). She also lent her voice to the 2013 video game The Last of Us (2013),playing the character Maria.
In recent years, Ashley has starred in a number of made-for-television movies, primarily for the Lifetime network, including Summoned (2013),The Nightmare Nanny (2013),16 and Missing (2015). She was cast as series regular "Mary Newhouse" in the Lifetime comedy-drama series UnREAL (2015),opposite Shiri Appleby and Constance Zimmer. UnREAL received widespread critical acclaim as the best summer TV drama.
Ashley currently resides in Los Angeles with her two baby daughters, born to her marriage with Steve Hart, lead singer of Worlds Apart, which ended in divorce in 2019.
