Ashley Mae Sebera, better known by her professional wrestling stage name Dana Brooke, was born on November 29, 1988, in the charming suburban city of Seven Hills, Ohio. She went on to attend Kent State University (KSU),where Sebera earned a major degree in fashion, merchandising, design, and a minor degree in business administration in 2011.
Sebera's athletic pursuits began with diving, but she eventually returned to her first love, gymnastics. After 18 years of dedication to the sport, she suffered severe injuries in both her ankles, forcing her to bid farewell to gymnastics. Undeterred, she transitioned to the world of fitness, training as a competitor and bodybuilder.
Sebera's impressive physique and dedication to fitness soon earned her championship titles during the 2010-2011 National Physique Committee (NPC) contests. Her success led to her earning a professional card in 2012, allowing her to compete in the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness (IFBB).
In 2013, Sebera signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and made her debut as Dana Brooke. She spent three years honing her skills and appearing in shows in WWE NXT before making her main roster debut on Monday Night RAW in 2016.
Even as her professional wrestling career took off, Sebera remained committed to her passion for bodybuilding. She returned to the stage for the 2017 Arnold's Classic, competing in the fitness international category, and has continued to maintain a presence in the world of bodybuilding.
