Aylin Tezel is a German actress of notable talent, renowned for her captivating performances in a variety of film and television roles. One of her most notable appearances was in the 2019 thriller 7500, where she shared the screen with the accomplished Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Additionally, she starred as the main character in the neo-original miniseries Unbroken (2021),a gripping drama that follows a young police officer whose baby is stolen from her womb and her subsequent determination to solve the case.
Aylin Tezel's breakthrough roles include her main parts in Almanya: Welcome to Germany (2011),a film that premiered in the Berlinale Competition, and Breaking Horizons (2012),for which she received the prestigious Best Actress Award at the Torino Film Festival. She has also made a lasting impression with her recurring roles in Germany's most popular police drama Tatort (1970) and the Canadian CBC Spy-Series X Company (2015),where she portrayed the strong and resilient Jewish Polish resistance fighter Zosia, alongside the talented Warren Brown.
