Ben Smith has had a prolific career in television, with notable performances in a wide range of genres. He has starred in numerous critically acclaimed shows, including BBC One's The Split, Silent Witness, and Des, as well as ITV's Law & Order and Cleaning Up. He has also appeared in Channel 4's The Inbetweeners and Derek, and has had recurring roles in BBC comedies such as Rev, Miranda, Fleabag, and Russell Howard's Good News.
In addition to his television work, Ben has also had a successful career in film, starring in the Amazon movie Cinderella and forthcoming releases including The Light, a drama series for Channel 4, the AppleTV thriller Suspicion, and the Netflix feature Persuasion.
Ben is highly regarded for his work with Ricky Gervais, with whom he has collaborated on numerous projects since 2012. He starred in the 2016 Gervais movie David Brent: Life on the Road, and worked on the C4 series Derek, as well as creating and co-writing a number of comic songs and sketches.

He has also penned a number of mainstream advertising campaigns, including Sainsbury's and the wildly successful Snoop Dogg series for Just Eat.
Ben still makes Rap music for himself and his fans under the name Doc Brown, showcasing his versatility and talent across a wide range of creative pursuits.
