Benjamín Naishtat, a visionary Argentine filmmaker, was born in 1986 in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires. He embarked on his cinematic journey by graduating from film school in his hometown in 2008, marking the beginning of his illustrious career.

In 2009, Naishtat embarked on an international odyssey, joining the prestigious Le Fresnoy-Studio national des arts contemporains' programme in France, where he honed his craft from 2009 to 2011. This formative experience laid the foundation for his future endeavors.

As a commissioned filmmaker, Naishtat has worked on a range of projects in Argentina and Cameroon, showcasing his versatility and adaptability. His work has garnered international recognition, with his feature debut, Historia del miedo/History of Fear, making its world premiere in competition at the esteemed Berlin Film Festival in 2014.

Naishtat's subsequent feature, Rojo, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2018, further solidifying his reputation as a talented and innovative filmmaker.
