Bernadette Pérez is a multifaceted individual, embodying a rich cultural heritage as a Mexican American, while also proudly identifying as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Born and raised in East Chicago, Pérez's artistic journey began at the tender age of twelve, when she first stepped onto the stage in the world of theater.
With a career spanning across both film and television, Pérez has had the privilege of honing her craft under the guidance of esteemed professionals. Notably, she has studied with Yale School of Drama Alumni Master Coach Gregory Berger-Sobeck, renowned Television Director/Showrunner Stan Zimmerman, and the esteemed instructors at The Groundlings School.
Beyond her impressive body of work, Pérez is also a passionate advocate for equality, dedicating her time and energy to promoting the rights of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as advocating for at-risk youth and promoting diversity and inclusion within the entertainment industry.
