Bertrand-Xavier Corbi, a native of Paris, France, was born on October 16, 1979. His childhood was marked by a passion for movies that often interrupted his schooling, as he would frequently skip class to catch the latest theatrical releases.
As he grew older, Corbi's love for cinema only intensified, leading him to pursue a career in the industry instead of international trade, which he was studying at university in Paris. His fluency in English, Spanish, and German proved to be a valuable asset as he began working in international film festivals, liaising with dignitaries from other countries.
Corbi's behind-the-scenes education in filmmaking helped him transition to a career in front of the camera as an actor. After moving to Los Angeles in the late 2000s, he made his on-screen debut, appearing in numerous short films, web series, commercials, and network TV shows, often in lead roles.
However, 2016 proved to be a turning point in Corbi's career when he was cast by the legendary Francis Ford Coppola to portray Alexander Graham Bell in the live cinema experimental project Distant Vision (2015). The same year, he was cast opposite Luke Hemsworth, Trace Adkins, Kris Kristofferson, and Bruce Dern in the Western Hickok (2017) directed by Timothy Woodward Jr.
Standing at an impressive 6'6" tall and weighing around 230 pounds, Corbi's physical presence has allowed him to excel in a variety of roles, including a biker, inmate, lumberjack, Viking warrior, and even a comical witch hunter's henchman in the popular Disney children's show Bunk'd (2015).
In 2017, the 5150 Action production team recognized Corbi's physical presence and charisma by casting him as the wisecracking French special forces explosives expert, Jacques, in The Rogue Warfare (2019) trilogy. Set to be released in 2019, Corbi stars alongside an international ensemble composed of Will Yun Lee, Rory Markham, Jermaine Love, Katie Keene, Fernando Chien, Stephen Lang, Chris Mulkey, and Essam Ferris.
