Billy's acting career has been marked by his portrayal of unconventional and often morally ambiguous characters, frequently featuring individuals with poor dental hygiene and ultimately meeting a tragic demise.
Born and raised in London, Ontario, Billy's early exposure to the world of theatre came through his involvement in high school productions at Sir Adam Beck Collegiate, where he honed his skills as both an actor and director.
Subsequently, Billy relocated to the Canadian prairies in Saskatchewan, where he made his film debut in 1980's "The Hounds of Notre Dame". Over the course of the next two decades, he continued to appear in various projects, including plays and rock bands.
In 2003, Billy's character met a grisly end in the film "Open Range", prompting him to take a hiatus from the entertainment industry. During this sabbatical, he has been focusing on developing his skills as a foley artist.
