The roots of William's identity were deeply nurtured by his parents, Christina (Smith) Paul, a dedicated elementary school teacher, and William Lee Tilk, a skilled air traffic controller, who imbued him with a profound sense of European heritage that can be traced back to the historic Mayflower voyage and the early colonial days of New Amsterdam.
William's early years were marked by a diverse array of creative endeavors, including a fascination with music, a passion for the performing arts, and a knack for acting. By the tender age of ten, he had already taken his first steps into the entertainment industry, securing a role in a feature film that would ignite a lifelong passion for acting. This formative experience would ultimately set the stage for his future academic pursuits, leading him to enroll in the University of Central Oklahoma, where he would go on to earn a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) in the year 2004.
