Shou-Liang, a multifaceted individual, was born in China in 1953 and later relocated to Taiwan at the tender age of three. As he entered his teenage years, he discovered his passion for motorsports, which led him to take up professional motorcycle and car racing at the age of 16.
Not long after, Shou-Liang ventured into the world of acting, initially appearing in films. Observing that most stuntmen in Taiwan specialized in martial arts and related disciplines, he pioneered a new path by focusing on stunts involving motorcycles and cars. This innovative approach allowed him to transition from in-front-of-the-camera work to behind-the-scenes stunt arranging.
Beyond his illustrious career in the film industry, Shou-Liang's most notable achievement came in 1997 when he successfully executed a breathtaking stunt, using a modified Mitsubishi to leap an astonishing 50 meters over China's iconic Yellow River. This remarkable feat was broadcast live on television and served as a poignant tribute to the handover of Hong Kong to China.
Following this incredible achievement, Shou-Liang announced his retirement from the world of motorsports and dedicated his time to philanthropic pursuits, raising funds for various charitable causes. In addition to his many talents, Shou-Liang was also a skilled singer and enjoyed the peaceful hobby of fishing.
