His captivating fascination with the realm of acting and filmmaking began at the tender age of 16, and since then, he has had the esteemed privilege of appearing in a diverse and eclectic array of film and television projects, including, but not limited to, the likes of Freddy VS Jason, X-Men 2, Blade: The Series, Poison Ivy, and The Strain.
Blake spent a transformative four-year period in Germany, deeply immersed in the country's thriving music and art scenes. This formative experience rekindled his passion for filmmaking, and upon his return to Canada, he dedicated himself to refining his craft. As a writer and developer of his own screenplays, Blake's impressive resume has been augmented by a string of prestigious accolades and nominations. Notably, he received the 'Best Emerging Canadian Artist Award' at the Toronto Inside Out LGBT Film Festival in 2016, as well as the 'Best Horror Short' award at Flickers' Rhode Island Vortex for his film PYOTR495. Furthermore, the film was shortlisted for the 2016 Iris Prize, the world's largest short film prize, and featured at Sitges 2017's Paul Naschy Award.
