Blas Diaz Figueroa, professionally known as Sien el Moviemaker, was born in 1977 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This talented individual made history by becoming the first reggaeton artist to be signed by the renowned U.S. label, Terror Squad, with the notable artist Fat Joe as his manager.
Sien's professional journey took him to Aventura, North Miami, Florida, where he collaborated with Pure Blanco. In the beginning of 2014, he embarked on a new path by being hired as an actor for the American series, Showtime's Homeland. He then worked with Univision PR on Illegal Night and In the Lens of the Public Eye, earning a prestigious TV Emmy for Best Report for Secuestro Express.
Sien's acting career continued to flourish as he was hired to work alongside renowned actress Gina Carano, known for her role in Deadpool, in the movie In the Blood. Throughout his career, he successfully managed to balance his work in the movie and TV industry while also distributing his music for these productions.
In addition to his acting and music endeavors, Sien began working behind the cameras in production with PJ Gaffer Lighting and Grip, captained by Pedro Juan Lopez and his impressive team. This marked the birth of his first official album, The Real Moviemaker.
As a result of his dedication and perseverance, Sien joined the California-based actors' union, Sag-Aftra, a remarkable achievement for a Puerto Rican talent, considering it is unusual for someone residing in Puerto Rico to achieve this without relocating to the United States.
