Breton Tyner-Bryan is a multi-talented American director, writer, actor, choreographer, editor, and filmmaker with Canadian roots, based in New York City. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, she grew up in the theater and trained classically in ballet.
Breton has won numerous awards for her work, including over 100 awards for her films, which have screened at various festivals worldwide. Her films have been praised for their unique storytelling, eye-catching visuals, and stylish presentation.
In addition to her film work, Breton has also worked in television, directing episodes of popular shows such as "The Penguin" (HBO),"Manifest" (Netflix),"Gossip Girl" (HBO),"Billions" (Showtime),and "Divorce" (HBO). She has also collaborated with notable actors and actresses, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Molly Shannon, Clive Owen, BD Wong, and Donny Most.
Breton's choreographic work includes credits such as "Saturday Night Fever" (Engeman Theater),"Heading East" (Prospect Theater),and "Peter Pan" (Dreamland Stages). She has also worked as a ballet mistress for Sleep No More and Ballet Hispanico.
