Brian Wescott, a remarkable individual, was born and raised in a rural area without access to running water. Despite his humble beginnings, he went on to pursue higher education at two of the most prestigious institutions in the world, Harvard and Yale.
In the entertainment industry, Wescott has made a name for himself as a talented voice actor, playing the recurring role of Walt Evanoff and various other characters on the popular animated series "The Great North" which airs on Fox and Hulu.
In addition to his work as a voice actor, Wescott has also had a successful career behind the camera, co-producing the feature comedy "Christmas in the Clouds," executive producing the feature documentary "The Thick Dark Fog" which tells the powerful story of a Lakota boarding school survivor, and producing "Ishi's Return," all of which received critical acclaim and excelled on the festival circuit.
On stage, Wescott has had the opportunity to perform in multiple productions at various venues, including Perseverance Theatre in Alaska, Native Voices at the Autry in Los Angeles, and the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego.
Wescott has also been involved in the "Winter Bear Project" for over a decade, serving as both the lead artist and lead actor.
As an enrolled Alaska Native, Wescott is a member of the Actors' Equity Association (AEA) and sits on the Native American committees at the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
