Briana's journey began in Miami, Florida, where she made the bold decision to leave her hometown and pursue her dreams at the University of Southern California. It was during her time at USC that she discovered her true passion for acting, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Acting. Prior to her college days, Briana had limited acting experience, but she made up for it by participating in a "Poetry Out Loud" competition, where she performed two poems and reached the state finals. This experience not only boosted her confidence but also instilled in her a deep appreciation for the connection between an artist and their audience.
Growing up, Briana was surrounded by artistry, thanks to her mother, a talented Jazz singer, and her father, who had always dreamed of becoming a writer. It was only natural that she would follow in their footsteps and pursue a career in the arts. Her father's discovery of a month-long acting program at USC gave her the opportunity to audition for the program the following year, and the rest, as they say, is history.
While attending USC, Briana landed a recurring role on the popular Soap Opera, The Young and the Restless, which initially started as a one-episode gig but expanded to 16 episodes. This breakthrough role opened doors to other opportunities, including stints on NBC's Undateable, CW's Jane the Virgin, ABC's Stitchers, HBO's Insecure, and Apple+'s The Morning Show. Today, Briana is a series regular on the long-running Soap Opera General Hospital.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Briana explored the world of fitness, drawing from her lifelong experience as an athlete. She became a Soul Cycle instructor for the popular Indoor Cycling Company and spent 2.5 years with the organization before deciding to focus solely on her acting career.
