Candice Ramirez, a talented American actress, hails from South Dos Palos, California, a small farming community nestled in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley. Growing up in this picturesque setting, she developed a strong foundation in sports, participating in basketball, softball, and volleyball, while also being an active member of various school clubs, including the Black Student Union and Leadership.
Her early exposure to the arts was sparked by her mother's involvement in the college production of "Calamity Jane", which ignited a passion for performing in Candice at a young age. However, the limited resources and opportunities in her small hometown meant that her creative pursuits were largely confined to school choir, an eighth-grade drama class, and cheerleading competitions.
Undeterred by these constraints, Candice pursued higher education at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),where she studied History and Afro-American Studies, driven by her fascination with people and their stories. After graduating, she made the bold decision to revisit her childhood dreams and return to a more creative path.
In 2018, Candice made her television debut in the popular series "Silicon Valley", marking the beginning of her professional acting career.
