Carlo Essagian is a multifaceted Canadian-born actor, effortlessly transitioning between various mediums, including voice work in a diverse array of cartoon series, audiobooks, and more. His impressive bilingual comedic live performances have earned him a spot at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival/Festivale Juste Pour Rire, as well as numerous corporate presentations, where he has excelled as both Talent and Presenter.
As a seasoned professional, Essagian also wears the hats of film and television producer and director, and is a proud member of several esteemed organizations, including ACTRA (Alliance of Canadian Television & Radio Artists),UdA (Union des Artistes),CMPA (Canadian Media Producer's Association),and ACCT (Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television).
After graduating from McGill University with a degree in Film and Communications, Essagian explored the realm of private consulting, applying his skills to advertising, strategic marketing, and business development, as well as special events. He honed his expertise as an entertainment and promotions director for a prominent franchise chain of restaurants in Quebec, La Cage au Sports, as well as for independent small to mid-sized businesses, including Biddles, Bijou, Sports rock Café, and the iconic La Maison Ogilvy in Montreal.
Before fully dedicating himself to the creative and ever-evolving movie and entertainment industry, Essagian conceptualized and negotiated sales, mergers, and acquisitions in the advertising and franchising fields.
Essagian's innovative spirit led him to pioneer the ACTRA (Montreal) Member Initiated Production of the short film "Life of Smiley", collaborating with a talented team of colleagues and associates. He subsequently relocated to Toronto, Ontario, where he produced an ACTRA (TIP) Toronto Independent Production, short film titled "Driver's Test", earning an award of recognition as Director at the Boston International Film Festival in 2007.
