His inaugural short film, titled The Intruder, made its debut at the prestigious 13th Shanghai International Film Festival, garnering significant attention and accolades.
In the early months of the year 2011, a pivotal moment in the careers of two visionary filmmakers, Carlos and Alejandro Martinez-Beltran, brought about the inception of a groundbreaking production company, aptly titled The Visualistas, with a dual presence in the bustling metropolises of Los Angeles and Monterrey, Mexico.
Notable among their initial joint endeavors was the short film "El firulete", which garnered significant attention and acclaim by being featured at a multitude of prestigious film festivals worldwide, including the esteemed Warsaw Film Festival, the acclaimed Raindance Film Festival, and the highly regarded Morelia International Film Festival, thereby cementing their creative partnership's early promise and potential for future success.
Carlos took the next significant step in his academic journey by enrolling in the esteemed Vancouver Film School, a renowned institution for film and television education, where he successfully completed a comprehensive program in Writing for Film and Television. Carlos and Alejandro embarked upon a creative endeavor in March 2015, co-directing their inaugural feature film production, Veronica, a cinematic masterpiece that is poised to make its theatrical debut in Mexico during the month of August in the year 2017.
Carlos, a multifaceted creative force, embarked on a collaborative endeavor with Alejandro Martinez-Beltran, his partner in both life and art, during the latter half of 2015.
